Pink Kirtle Layers Final

You can probably see it isnow too big for me, as I have lost a lot of weight!

Anyway, the layer photos go like this.
One: shift, veil, hose, garters and modern earings! Actually, I just forgot to take the earings off for the photo, but they're there so I listed the.
Shift and hose are hand sewn linen or 60/40 linen/cotton, garters I've used some flat finger loop braid. Veil is cotton because I couldn't find my linen one, and my linen one is hand hemed,but the cotton one isn't hemmed at all because its a spare and I don't actually wear it.

Two: same as before but this time with shoes. shhhh.... I pinched my sister's for the photos as mine aren't done yet. I am in the habbit of pitting shoes on at this stage, aswith Elizabethan if you don't, you can't because of the corset (pair of bodies or whatever). Its as gooda time asany I suppose

Three: Here I haveadded my 60/40 linen cotton kirtle. My friend made it and it is machine sewn, though I hand finished it and added the eyelets (three times in all, the first time was wrong and the second time they wern't spaced well). This used to be VERY supportive, but I have lost so much weight it no longer is, and I have to take it in.

Four: Here is the pink kirtle, wool and hand sewn. Eyelets are hand done, and there should be more of them. I need to take this in a third time.

Five: Here I have added handsewn linen sleeves (same material as hose) held on with pins (modern ones, I lost my period ones, but at least I've crushed the plastic balls off and replaced them with pearls which will do for now). I have also added a handsewn linen apron.

Six: same as last photo from the other side.

Seven: same as last but from the back

Eight: I have added my pouch, which I love and don't care if its accurate or not, lol. It holds a LOT, far more than you would think! I can hold a days worth of food and money and pin and needles and all sorts of things as well!
